Qiwa contract different from your offer? Check before accepting

Compare salary, allowances and working terms before deciding what to accept.
Do not treat a mismatch as a small detail
You have a written offer, and now the employment contract in Qiwa shows something different. It might be a salary component, a job title or a condition you did not discuss. Compare the versions and ask for a clear correction or explanation before deciding.
MHRSD's official contract-management page says employees can approve, reject or request an amendment through Qiwa Afrad. If both parties agree, the contract is considered certified and approved by the ministry. [S3] Read the document carefully rather than treating acceptance as an administrative click.
Put the documents side by side
Use the actual written offer and current contract, not your memory of a call. Check the legal employer name, job title, duration, working hours, financial obligations and additional terms. These are among the fields MHRSD describes for contract creation. [S3]
Make a comparison with three columns: the offer says, the contract says, and the question to resolve. If the offer does not say something, mark it as not stated. Do not fill the gap with what another worker receives.
Compare basic salary and allowances separately
A headline monthly package can hide a difference in how the money is split. Compare basic salary, housing, transport and any other stated payment as separate lines. Check whether a benefit is cash or something provided by the company. "Accommodation provided" and "housing allowance" are different descriptions.
For example, an entirely fictional offer might show SAR 3,000 basic salary and SAR 1,000 housing allowance. Another document might show SAR 4,000 basic salary and no housing allowance. The monthly total is the same, but the terms are different. This example is not a market salary or a statement about legal benefit calculations. Ask what the actual documents mean in your case.
Check the daily working arrangement
If the role, workplace or schedule differs, ask which arrangement you are agreeing to. For a job in Jubail, clarify the actual worksite and promised transport rather than assuming a city name tells you the commute.
If accommodation, meals, overtime arrangements, deductions or other conditions were discussed, find out whether they are documented and where. This checklist does not claim every item is mandatory or every verbal promise is enforceable. Its purpose is to make unresolved terms visible before you decide.
Ask for a precise answer
Describe the mismatch without accusing anyone of bad intent. A useful question is: "My written offer lists [term]. The contract currently lists [different term]. Which is the agreed version, and can the contract be corrected before I decide?" Replace the brackets with the exact terms from your documents.
If the employer explains that a payment appears elsewhere, ask where it is recorded and whether it is guaranteed or conditional. If the explanation changes the deal, compare the new written version rather than relying on "it will be fixed later." Keep your questions and responses with your document copies.
Understand the available choices
The official ministry page describes approval, rejection and an amendment request through the employee's Qiwa Afrad account. [S3] Use the current platform instructions for the steps. This guide does not give a universal button sequence or response deadline, because those details were not verified for every contract state.
If you are unsure about the legal effect of a clause, an existing acceptance or a disputed promise, seek advice through the appropriate official support channel or a qualified adviser. This article does not decide which conflicting document wins in a dispute.
Keep a clean record
Save the versions you reviewed and any later corrected version securely. Keep the employer's explanation and note when a change was made. Do not share your full contract publicly; redact identity, contact and private financial details when seeking general advice.
Does the same monthly total mean the documents match? No. Compare components and conditions as well as the total.
Can I ask for an amendment? MHRSD describes that choice through Qiwa Afrad. [S3]
Should I accept now and sort it out later? This guide cannot make that decision for you. Resolve the difference and understand the terms before choosing.
